I’m sure that Warriors fans are excited about Klay’s return, and many are wondering what Klay will add once he returns. Of course, there’s his shooting, which is probably the biggest plus for the Warriors. They currently only have one player shooting higher than 40%, and that’s Andrew Wiggins. Klay could be the second. Of course, once Stephen Curry figures out his shot selection, then the Warriors are going to be even better offensively than they currently are. Defensively, Klay was a top-tier perimeter defender, and if he can be that again, then defensively, there is no stopping the Warriors.

But this is all about if he comes back as 2019 Klay. Immediately, he may not be that great of a defender, nor will he be as athletic. Of course, there’s still his shot, which is the greatest part of his game. Watching the Warriors scrimmages, I can tell that he’s still got it. By the time the playoffs roll around, then he will be a huge help as he will have improved.

Only time can tell how good Klay will be when he returns, but we can expect a deep playoff run from the Warriors.
